Our Wedding Services
Whether you are having a traditional wedding or a short ceremony, your special day deserves the music of your choice. Most weddings can be divided into the following sections:
Prelude
A Selection of music, approximately 20 minutes long, while guests are seated.
Processional
The processional consists of the entrance of the wedding party and the individuals getting married. You may select up to three pieces or songs to accompany your procession. The most common arrangement is to have one piece for the groom and the entire wedding party, and another separate piece for the entrance of the bride. If this description does not match your procession arrangement, we can tailor your music requests to fit the specifics of your processional.
Ceremony
Whether you are having a traditional service or a short ceremony, you may choose to add music throughout your special event. For a traditional mass you may enjoy music during the offertory and communion along with the signing of the documents. For a ceremony, There is also an option to have music during ceremonial gestures such as sand pouring, candle lighting or hand binding.
Recessional
Music to celebrate your new union! Choose a piece to escort you and your partner out the doors on your new journey.
Postlude
Serenade your guests as they exit the venue! You may choose to have an additional 10 minutes of music to entertain your guests as they make their way out of the ceremony.
Cocktail Hour
We play background music while your guests enjoy your cocktail hour. This can be added to the standard ceremony booking, or can be booked separately (without the ceremony). You may request specific songs, or talk to us about a general musical theme to adhere to.

Yes, a deposit is required to secure your booking. This ensures that your date is reserved exclusively for your event. Details about the deposit amounts will be provided during the booking process.
Absolutely! We encourage clients to select songs that hold personal meaning. You can choose from our extensive repertoire or suggest specific pieces you would like us to perform.
Our typical performances range from one to three hours, depending on your event’s schedule. We can tailor the length of our performance to meet your needs.
YXE Quartet works in one hour increments. The minimum service time is one hour. Even if your service is short, the quartet will fulfil the time commitment by playing music before and after your ceremony. Traditional masses with communion generally require 1.5 hours including prelude and postlude.
